    Our employment program includes a comprehensive vocational assessment, work skills training, volunteer activities to gain work experience, training in acceptable work behaviors, appropriate personal and professional presentation for a job interview and employment, job coaching services, on-the-job training in community businesses, and more.

    The Human Development Council also is licensed through the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) to provide job development and job coaching support to individuals seeking community employment.

    HDC trains our employees in all Developmental Disabilities Administration mandated trainings, in addition to training staff on the unique aspects of a person’s life. These individual trainings target specific personal requirements for health, safety, and a satisfying experience at HDC.
